Wer ist Simon Templar? Er hat keine wahre Familie und kein wahres Zuhause. Er verwendet für seine falschen Namen katholische Heilige. Der Mann ohne Namen umhüllt sich mit falschen Identitäten, damit er gewissen Aufträgen nachgehen kann. Seinen nächsten Auftrag erhält er von der russischen Mafia. Er soll die Formel zur kalten Fusion von einer Wissenschaftlerin klauen. Doch so leicht lässt sich die Physikerin Dr. Emma Russell nicht blenden.
