Verbrechen verführt (2001)
Britische Gangster-Komödie mit Minnie Driver und Mary McCormack. Gerade noch führten die beiden Freundinnen Shannon und Frances ein ganz normales Leben mitten in London - Shannon als aufopferungsvolle Krankenschwester und Frances als erfolglose Schauspielerin. Doch plötzlich wird alles anders: Die beiden werden Zeuginnen eines Telefongesprächs zwischen Gangstern, die gerade eine Bank überfallen. Doch was tun, wenn einem die Polizei diese Sache nicht abnimmt? Die Girls entscheiden sich, bei dem großen Coup mitzumischen und durch Erpressung einen Teil der Beute zu ergattern. Wer hätte gedacht, dass schon bald nicht mehr so klar ist, wer denn nun die Amateure und wer die Profis bei diesem heißen Deal sind!
