Für das Leben eines Freundes (1998)
Lewis wird auf Malaysia mit hundert Gramm Haschisch erwischt. Ein islamisches Tribunal verurteilt ihn zum Tode. Der US-Anwältin Beth Eastern gelingt es jedoch, mit den Richtern einen Deal auszuhandeln: Sollten Lewis' Freunde Sheriff und Tony, mit denen er gemeinsam den Urlaub verbracht hatte, sich dazu bekennen, ebenfalls Joints geraucht zu haben, würde das Gericht Lewis die Strafe erlassen. Dafür müßten allerdings Sheriff und Tony für jeweils drei Jahre hinter Gitter. Beth hat eine schwierige Mission vor sich...
