Nach 16 Jahren Knast wegen Mordes kehrt Adam in sein altes Viertel zurück und begibt sich auf den steinigen Weg der Vergebung gegenüber seinem Sohn, der ohne ihn aufgewachsen ist, während der verbitterte, unberechenbare Bruder des Jugendlichen, den er getötet hat, im Hintergrund lauert. Währenddessen will Mike, der es satt hat, für seinen mit Drogen dealenden Onkel Leff zu arbeiten, sein schmutziges Leben hinter sich lassen.
