Chief of Station (2024)
An seinem Hochzeitstag muss CIA-Stationschef Ben Malloy mit ansehen, wie seine Frau Farrah bei einer Explosion in Budapest stirbt. Gebrochen kehrt er nach Washington zurück und wird in den Ruhestand versetzt. Wenig später erhält Ben kryptische Hinweise, dass der Tod Farrahs, die ebenfalls für die CIA arbeitete, kein Unfall war. Als sein Nachfolger John Branca nur zögerlich recherchiert, beschließt Ben, die Ermittlungen selbst in die Hand zu nehmen – mit fatalen Folgen. Als auch noch sein Sohn entführt wird, erhält er unerwartet Unterstützung von der polnischen Agentin Krystyna, mit deren Hilfe er eine Verschwörung ungeheuerlichen Ausmaßes aufdeckt …
