The Canyons (2013)
Christian fehlt es an nichts. Als Produzent erotischer Filme kann er nicht nur seine eigenen schmutzigen Fantasien ausleben, er verfügt zudem über eine Menge Geld und kann sich so eine Villa in den Hollywood Hills leisten. Das Luxusleben langweilt Christian jedoch auf Dauer. Deshalb macht er die gescheiterte Schauspielerin Tara zu seinem Betthäschen und Star neuer Produktionen. Von Christians Machtdrang unterdrückt flüchtet sich Tara zunehmend in den Kaufrausch teurer Designerstücke und exzessiven Partys in den Szeneclubs von Los Angeles. Eines Tages erfährt sie, dass ausgerechnet ihr Ex-Lover Ryan als neuer Hauptdarsteller für einen von Christians Filmen engagiert wurde. Er will sie zurück haben und die beiden lassen sich auf eine leidenschaftliche, aber gefährliche Affäre ein. Als der zwanghaft kontrollsüchtige Christian davon erfährt, beginnt ein gefährliches Machtspiel und ein hasserfüllter, blutiger Rachefeldzug…
