Jesse Stone - Im Zweifel für den Angeklagten (2012)
Der neue Polizeichef und Officer DeAngelo fahren zu einem Einsatz. Als sie anhalten, fliegt ihr Streifenwagen in die Luft, beide sterben auf der Stelle. Im Kofferraum findet Healy jede Menge Geld und Heroin. Carter Hansen stellt Jesse wieder als Polizeichef ein, er soll den Mörder seines Schwiegersohnes finden. Jesse glaubt an die Unschuld seines Vorgängers. Aber er muss nun allein ermitteln, Rose und ‚Koffer‘ haben gekündigt. Nach und nach kommt Jesse dem Mörder auf die Spur. Es scheint ein guter Bekannter zu sein.
