Julie bleibt still (2024)
Julie spielt Tennis an einer belgischen Tenniskademie und gilt als eines der vielversprechendsten Talente des Landes. Eines Tages gerät ihr Trainer Jérémy wegen fragwürdiger Trainingsmethoden unter Beschuss. Er wird suspendiert, eine Untersuchung folgt. Alle Spielerinnen des Clubs sollen aussagen – auch Julie. Doch sie schweigt. Je mehr Menschen um sie herum sprechen, desto größer wird der Druck auf sie. Leonardo Van Dijls fesselndes Regiedebüt erzählt leise, doch umso eindringlicher von Macht und Kontrolle. „Julie bleibt still“ feierte Weltpremiere im Rahmen der Critics' Week beim Filmfestival von Cannes, wo der Film zwei Preise gewann.
