Sea of Love - Melodie des Todes (1989)
Frank Keller, New Yorker Polizist in der Lebenskrise, ermittelt in einer Mordserie. Die Indizien deuten auf eine Frau als Täterin. Es scheint, als hätten alle Opfer vor ihrem Ableben Kontaktanzeigen in Gedichtform aufgegeben. Keller und Kollege Sherman inserieren ihrerseits Gereimtes. Die folgenden Rendezvous erweisen sich als Sackgasse, bis die attraktive Helen auftaucht. Frank verliebt sich in die junge Frau. Als sich der Verdacht erhärtet, daß sie für die Mordtaten verantwortlich ist, läßt er sogar belastendes Material verschwinden, um sie zu schützen.
