Viktor (2024)
Viktor hat im Alter von fünf Jahren sein Gehör verloren. Er lebt mit seiner Mutter zusammen, jobbt auf dem Bau und fotografiert seinen Alltag. In hypnotischen Schwarz-Weiß-Bildern, unterlegt von einem Klangteppich, der zwischen Innen und Außen hin und her zu wechseln scheint, taucht der Film in Viktors Welt ein – genau einen Tag bevor Russland zum ersten Mal seine Heimatstadt Charkiw angreift. Viktor, der sich für die Kampfkunst der Samurai und für Waffen und Militär begeistert, will am liebsten selbst Soldat sein. Doch aufgrund seiner Gehörlosigkeit ist ihm dieser Weg versperrt. Gemeinsam mit Filmemacher Olivier Sarbil geht er zum Fotografieren an die Front. Viktors besonderer Blick auf die Ereignisse macht den Kriegsalltag auf einzigartig beklemmende Weise erlebbar. Wie ein Filter legt sich seine innere Stille über die sorgfältig komponierten Bilder und schafft Distanz und Unmittelbarkeit zugleich.
