Into the Deep (2025)
Nach einer traumatischen Unterwasserbegegnung mit einem riesigen Hai leidet die Meeresbiologin Cassidy Branham unter anhaltenden Angstzuständen und Albträumen, die ihr das Arbeiten unmöglich machen. Als sie einem älteren Kollegen von ihrem Zustand berichtet, empfiehlt dieser ihr, sich ihren Problemen zu stellen. Daraufhin beschließen Cassidy und ihr Ehemann Gregg, nach Thailand zu reisen. Dort begeben sie sich mit Kapitän Daemon Benz auf eine Tauchexpedition und suchen nach versunkenen Schätzen. Zunächst läuft alles wie geplant. Doch dann mutiert der Trip in eine Katastrophe, als sie auf ein Schiff voller moderner Piraten und Drogenschmuggler treffen, die eine auf dem Meeresboden liegende Ladung Heroin bergen wollen.
