Séraphine (2008)
Biografischer Spielfilm über die französische Malerin Séraphine Louis (1864-1942), eine bedeutende Vertreterin der "Naiven Malerei". Der bewegende Film skizziert das Schicksal der aus einfachen Verhältnissen stammenden Künstlerin und unscheinbare Autodidaktin, deren Talent erst 1912 vom deutschen Kunstsammler Wilhelm Uhde entdeckt und gefördert wurde, bei dem sie als Putzfrau arbeitete.
