Cradle Will Fall - Wenn Mutterliebe tödlich wird (2008)
Draußen auf dem weiten Land leben der Trucker und seine Frau mit ihren vier Kindern auf einer kleinen Farm. Niemand der anderen bemerkt, dass die überforderte Mutter eine mächtige Verhaltensstörung ausbrütet, und als die Psychose sich schließlich in einem blutigen Amoklauf gegen die nähere Umwelt Bahn bricht, ist der Vater auf Achse und seriöse Hilfe fern. Bewaffnet nur mit einer Steinschleuder nimmt der zehnjährige Jimmy den Kampf mit der Mama auf und versucht, so gut es geht, die jüngeren Geschwister aus der Gefahrenzone zu halten.
