Eine Nacht in New York (1999)
Stell dir vor, du gibst eine Party und keiner kommt: Monica (Martha Plimpton) hat die ultimative Silvesterfeier in ihrem New Yorker Loft vorbereitet, aber ihre Gäste lassen auf sich warten. Weil es total uncool gilt, zu früh zu kommen, treiben sich alle noch im nächtlichen New York herum und erleben dabei die unterschiedlichsten Abenteuer. Kevin (Paul Rudd) ist gerade von seiner Liebsten verlassen worden und ertränkt seinen Schmerz mit Lucy (Courtney Love) in einem Diner. Bridget (Nicole Ari Parker) und Caitlyn (Angela Featherstone) flirten mit dem süßen Barkeeper (Ben Affleck) und versuchen, ihn auf die Party mitzuschleppen. Die kesse Val (Christina Ricci) und ihre Freundin haben die Adresse verschusselt und auf der Suche nach einer Telefonzelle verlaufen sie sich im Labyrinth der Kneipen und Clubs. Aber am Ende treffen sich alle auf der Party im East Village und feiern 'Eine Nacht in New York'. Und was für eine.
