Breakin' (1984)
Kelly, die als Kellnerin in einem Diner arbeitet, lernt bei einem Jazztanzkurs den jungen Tänzer Adam kennen. Er nimmt sie mit an den Rollschuhstrand von Venice Beach und stellt sie einigen Freunden vor, die allesamt Streetdancer sind. Nach anfänglicher Skepsis über das weiße Mädchen mit der klassischen Jazz Ausbildung und Interesse am Breakdance freunden sie sich mit Kelly an - der Tanz soll ihr Leben verändern. Doch zuvor muss das Trio die legendäre Battle gegen eine rivalisierende Gruppe bestehen...
