Linda's Child (2013)
Die 17-jährige Emanuel ist ein intelligentes junges Mädchen, doch der Tod ihrer Mutter bei ihrer Geburt plagt sie noch immer. Sie fühlt sich verantwortlich für deren Dahinscheiden und versucht ihre Gefühle durch ironisches und sarkastisches Verhalten zu überspielen. Sie lebt mit ihrem Vater Dennis zusammen, der gerade erneut geheiratet hat. Emanuel hat jedoch Schwierigkeiten mit ihrer neuen Stiefmutter Janice zurechtzukommen. Als die junge alleinerziehende Mutter Linda, die Emanuels Mutter wie aus dem Gesicht geschnitten ist, in ein Haus nebenan einzieht, beginnt Emanuel für sie als Babysitterin zu arbeiten und baut schnell eine intime Verbindung zu Linda auf. Doch ihr Verlangen nach einer Mutterfigur nimmt nach und nach immer psychotischere Formen an.
