Tödliche Verschwörung (2008)
Lauren (Paget Brewster), bekannt für kontroverse Dokumentarfilme, fährt für Recherchen zum Thema Todesstrafe in eine kleine Stadt. Dort wartet der vermeintliche Mörder Kevin Reese (Antonio Cupo) auf seine Hinrichtung durch die Giftspritze. Er soll eine komplette Familie ausgelöscht haben. Doch Lauren entdeckt einige Ungereimtheiten, welche die Schuld des Todeskandidaten in Frage stellen. Die lokale Polizei ist von ihren Nachforschungen wenig erbaut. Schon bald merkt sie, dass sie einer Verschwörung auf der Spur ist. Lauren bleibt wenig Zeit, denn der Termin für die Hinrichtung steht bereits.
