Frankie und Johnny (1966)
Elvis ist Johnny, ein Entertainer auf einem Ausflugsdampfer, dessen Leben sich nur um eins dreht: ums Roulette. Seine Bühnenpartnerin und Verlobte Frankie ist davon alles andere als begeistert – vor allem, weil Johnny sein ganzes Geld verspielt. Doch eine Wahrsagerin verheißt dem Pechvogel Glück, und zwar in Gestalt der rothaarigen Nellie Bly. Frankie beschließt, dem untreuen Glückritter eine Lektion zu erteilen – und lässt die Verlobung mit einem Knalleffekt platzen.
