The Cell 2 (2009)
Ein Mann entführt mehrere Menschen und bringt die Opfer, nachdem sie ihn anflehen, sie endlich zu töten, auch um. Er wendet dabei aber Mechanismen an, die es ihm möglich machen, sie immer wieder ins Leben zurückzuholen. Eines der Opfer musste diese unmenschliche Prozedur bereits mehrfach über sich ergehen lassen. Irgendwann gelingt es Maya Casteneda (Tessie Santiago) aber, ihrem Martyrium zu entkommen. Dabei hat sie Fähigkeiten entwickelt, die es erlauben, in das Bewusstsein anderer Menschen zu gelangen. Auf diese Weise soll sie endlich dem grausamen Peiniger, der ihr das angetan hat, auf die Spur kommen. Aber der Killer ist ein gewitzter Bursche, der sich nicht so einfach schnappen lässt. Zwischen Maya und ihrem ehemaligen Peiniger entwickelt sich eine Hetzjagd auf Leben und Tod, nachdem der Killer wieder zugeschlagen hat.
