Sweet November (2001)
Sara Deever ist die prototypische "moderne" Frau. In San Francisco lebt die unangepasste, flippig gekleidete Veganerin mit monatlich wechselnden Liebhabern ihren unstillbaren Lebenshunger aus. Nach einer Begegnung auf dem Verkehrsamt findet sich der aalglatte Yuppie Nelson Moss völlig unverhofft in der Rolle des Einmonatsliebhabers wieder. Trotz anfänglicher Abneigung lernt der plötzlich arbeitslose Workaholic, das Leben zu genießen. Als das "Novemberprojekt" Sara um ihre Hand bittet, lehnt sie ab, denn sie ist unheilbar krank...
