The Dread (2007)
Das Grauen beginnt, als ein Ehepaar auf brutalste Art von einer abscheulichen Kreatur ermordet wird. Die Polizei kann das Verbrechen nicht aufklären, die kleine Teri wird adoptiert und ihr Bruder Alex, traumatisiert von den schrecklichen Erlebnissen, wird in einer psychiatrischen Klinik untergebracht. Jahre später erfährt Teri von den Geschehnissen und der Existenz ihres Bruders. Sie will sich ihrer Vergangenheit stellen und besucht Alex. Dann beginnt der Terror erneut: Alex kann aus seiner Zelle entkommen und entpuppt sich als das mörderische Monster - trägt Teri auch das Böse in sich…?
