The Hillside Strangler (2006)
Hollywood Hills 1978: Während sich die Psychologin Samantha Stone auf einer exzessiven Party dem Sex- und Drogenkonsum hingibt, wird im Rotlichtviertel von Los Angeles eine Prostituierte verschleppt, vergewaltigt und anschließend getötet. In der Nähe des Tatortes wird Kenneth Bianchi als Hauptverdächtiger festgenommen. Samantha wird von ihrer Freundin Nicole, die bei der Polizei arbeitet und den Fall bearbeitet, gebeten mit Kenneth zu sprechen und herauszufinden was er weiß. Kenneth behauptet, dass ein Bekannter von ihm, Steve, für die Morde verantwortlich ist und wird wieder freigelassen. Ein paar Tage später wird vor Samanthas Haus, die Leiche einer Prostituierten, mit der sie und ihr Freund des Nachts zuvor Sex hatten, gefunden. Wieder führt die Spur zu Kenneth. Unter Hypnose möchte Samantha raus finden was wirklich in Kenneth vorgeht...
