Die Trauerfeier für Daniels Vater wird zum Tollhaus: Erst wird die Leiche vertauscht, dann weigert sich sein als Literat erfolgreicher Bruder, die anteiligen Kosten zu übernehmen. Ein Onkel geht allen mit seiner Nörgelei auf den Geist. Der Verlobte einer Cousine ist versehentlich auf Drogentrip und verstört den zukünftigen Schwiegervater. Und ein Gast in Zwergengestalt versucht, mit sexuell pikanten Fotos des Verstorbenen Schweigegeld zu erpressen.
