Coherence (2014)
Eines Abends, nachdem ein ungewöhnlich hell leuchtender Komet an der Erde vorbeigeflogen ist, sitzen acht Freunde gemeinsam beim Dinner. Schon bald kreisen die Gespräche um das außergewöhnliche Naturschauspiel, als plötzlich der Strom ausfällt. Schlagartig kippt die gemütliche Stimmung in unruhige Besorgnis und die Partygesellschaft bemerkt, dass auch alle anderen Nachbarhäuser dunkel sind – bis auf ein einziges Gebäude, das hell erleuchtet ist. Die Gruppe begibt sich daraufhin auf die Straße und nähert sich dem Anwesen. Schon auf dem Weg dahin ereignen sich unerklärliche Vorkommnisse. In dem Haus entdecken die Freunde schließlich eine mysteriöse Metallbox – und immer mehr scheinen ihre Wahrnehmung und ihr Bewusstsein gestört zu werden und ihre Realität aus den Fugen zu geraten…
