Mother - Sie schlägt zurück (2013)
Catherine Hardy (Kirsten Prout) ist bislang vorbildlich durchs Leben gegangen, ohne größere Probleme zu verursachen. Die Schule hat sie mit Bestnoten bestanden und mit einem Stipendium in der Tasche ist der Weg nun frei für ein neues Kapitel am College. Doch als plötzlich unangebrachte Status-Updates und beschämende Fotos auf ihrem Profil eines sozialen Netzwerks im Internet erscheinen, gerät Catherines Leben aus den Fugen. Obwohl sie schwört, nichts damit zu tun zu haben, glaubt ihr - bis auf ihre Mutter Susan (Daryl Hannah) - niemand. Als die negativen Kommentare immer zahlreicher werden, ist schließlich sogar das Stipendium gefährdet. Catherine kann sich keinen Reim darauf machen, wer für diese hinterlistige Aktion verantwortlich ist. Vielleicht ihr Ex-Freund? Oder ein neidischer Konkurrent, der sie in der Öffentlichkeit schlecht dastehen lassen will?
