Als steinreicher Besitzer des legendären Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas und enger Freund von Drogen wie Unterweltgrößen ist Ted Binion kein Mann, dem gesellschaftliche Konventionen viel bedeuten. Nachdem er im Strippschuppen die junge Sandra entdeckt, legt er sich die jugendliche Schönheit als Freundin zu und weiht sie auch in intimste Vermögensverhältnisse ein. Als er eines Tages vergiftet in seiner Villa liegt, müssen sich Sandra und ihr heimlicher Lover erst wegen des Griffs nach Binions Vermögen und dann auch wegen Mordes verantworten.
