Don Peyote (2014)
Warren Allman ist ein arbeitsloser Kiffer, der ziellos durch sein ereignisloses Leben läuft. Als er eines Tages auf einen obdachlosen Mann trifft, der ihm das Ende der Welt prophezeit, findet er einen Sinn in seiner Existenz und taucht tief ein in ein Gestrüpp aus Verschwörungstheorien, Geheimorganisationen und Gegenkultur. Er will herausfinden, was wirklich in unserer Welt passiert - und wer tatsächlich die Fäden zieht. Angetrieben von apokalyptischen Träumen ist Warren schon bald besessen von wahnwitzigen Weltuntergangstheorien und entscheidet sich dazu, einen Dokumentarfilm über sein Treiben zu drehen, während seine Frau ihre gemeinsame Hochzeit plant.
