Der Schnüffler (1967)
Tony Rome ist ein ehemaliger Polizist und nunmehr taffer Privatdetektiv aus Miami, der auf einem Hausboot lebt und von einem ortsansässigen Millionär beauftragt wird, die gestohlenen Juwelen seiner Tochter mitsamt der offensichtlich entführten Tochter wieder zu finden. Im Verlauf seines Auftrags lernt Tony Rome einige lokale Ganoven kennen und setzt eine ganze Reihe von Mordfällen in Gang.
