Twentynine Palms (2003)
David, ein freier Fotograf, und Katia, seine Freundin und Modell, sind in der kalifornischen Mojave-Wüste im Geländewagen unterwegs, auf der Suche nach Schauplätzen für ein Fotoshooting. Das Paar, das zwischen Sprachlosigkeit und wild zelebrierter Sexualität keine wirkliche Nähe findet, gleitet in der Menschenleere der lebensfeindlichen Landschaft in eine existenzielle Einsamkeit ab.
