Rocco Barbella ist ein Tunichtgut und Hitzkopf, wie geschaffen für eine kriminelle Karriere nach bewährter Machart. Doch als ihn seine Fäuste in den Knast bringen, überdenkt er sein Leben. Der Neuanfang bei der Army gerät für ihn ebenfalls zum Desaster, der unbeugsame und aufmüpfige Schläger kann von niemandem gezähmt werden.
