The Remaining (2014)
Eigentlich sollte es für die engen Freunde Tommy, Allison, Jack und Sam ein wunderschöner Tag werden, denn sie haben sich alle zur Traumhochzeit von Skylar und Dan eingefunden. Doch das Glück ist ihnen nicht hold und plötzlich kommt es zu zahlreichen Katastrophen, als übernatürliche Erscheinungen aus biblischen Prophezeiungen anfangen, ihr Unwesen zu treiben. Die gesamte Welt steht kurze Zeit später am Abgrund zur Hölle und eine Besserung ist nicht in Sicht. Die wenigen Überlebenden sehen sich einer ungewissen Zukunft gegenüber und stehen im Angesicht von Chaos und Terror vor einer schwerwiegenden Entscheidung: Wollen sie ihr irdisches Dasein einfach nur retten oder wahrhaftige Erlösung durch Glauben erlangen?
