Believe Me (2014)
Kein Geld – kein Studium – keine Zukunft. Als Sams Stipendium ausläuft, sitzt er plötzlich auf dem Trockenen und kann nicht weiterstudieren. Aber das kommt für den ambitionierten Studenten nicht infrage. Also muss das schnelle Geld her. Nur wie? Nach einem eher unfreiwilligen Kirchenbesuch hat Sam den perfekten Plan: Christen lieben es zu spenden – warum das Geld nicht abzweigen? Was als kleine Univeranstaltung beginnt, wird bald zum Selbstläufer quer durch die USA. Doch nicht alles läuft nach Plan, und nicht zu wissen, was genau eigentlich in der Bibel steht, bleibt nicht das einzige Problem. Eine Komödie, die der wichtigen Frage auf den Grund geht, woran man wirklich glaubt.
