Grundlage sind dessen eigene, erst kürzlich freigegebenen Audiomitschnitte aus dem Weißen Haus. Der Film stellt den Ausschnitten aus vielen tausend Stunden Bandmaterial zeitgenössische Presseberichte und Nixons Reflektionen zehn Jahre nach seinem Rücktritt 1974 gegenüber. - Vielschichtiger Dokumentarfilm über den umstrittenen US-Präsidenten Richard Nixon.
