Sand Dollars (2015)
Jeden Nachmittag verbringt Noelí, eine junge Dominikanerin, ihre Zeit am Strand von Las Terrenas. Zusammen mit ihrem Freund Yeremi versucht sie, sich auf Kosten der Hunderten von Touristen ihren Lebensunterhalt zu verdienen. Noelí hat jedoch auch eine Stammkundin: Anne, eine deutlich ältere Französin, die wie viele andere Europäer auf der Insel ein idyllisches Refugium gefunden hat, um dort ihren Lebensabend zu verbringen. Für Noelí ist die Beziehung zunächst rein zweckmäßig, doch die Gefühle vertiefen sich, als sie planen, gemeinsam nach Paris zu ziehen.
