Play - Tödliches Spiel (2014)
Als drei Haushalte im Jahr 1995 unabhängig voneinander jeweils eine angeschaltete Videokamera erhalten, ahnen die Beschenkten noch nicht, dass sie damit zu Opfern eines tödlichen Spiels werden. Die Eheleute Emmy (Audrey Marie Anderson) und Tom (Todd Stashwick), die Studentin Beth (Alexandra Lydon) und der Stubenhocker Leonard (Barak Hardley) nehmen zunächst an, an einem Contest teilzunehmen und befolgen die einzige Regel: Immer weiter filmen. Dass es sich nicht um einen harmlosen Wettbewerb handelt, finden sie allerdings schnell heraus, denn nach dem buntverpackten Geschenk wird noch ein Videoband nachgeliefert: Darauf ist zu sehen, wie ein Kind erschossen wird, weil es die Kamera ausgeschaltet hat. Ein als Clown verkleideter Mann macht ihnen unmissverständlich klar, was ihnen blüht, wenn sie die Aufnahme beenden. Ein Todesspiel mit grausamem Motto beginnt: filmen oder sterben.
