The Perfect Guy (2015)
Leah Vaughn hat das perfekte Leben: Als Lobbyistin ist sie in ihrem Job äußerst erfolgreich, ihr langjähriger Freund Dave trägt sie auf Händen und nun, mit 36, ist sie bereit, den nächsten Schritt zu wagen. Sie will endlich eine eigene Familie gründen. Dave ist von dieser Idee nicht wirklich angetan und schließlich führen seine Bedenken zu einer schmerzhaften Trennung. In der Folgezeit kreuzt sich Leahs Weg mehrfach mit dem von Carter Duncan, einem attraktiven und charmanten Fremden. Die beiden kommen sich schnell näher, nicht zuletzt da Carter sich liebevoll um Leah und ihre Familie kümmert. Es scheint, als hätte Leah nun den perfekten Mann getroffen. Doch das Ganze ist einfach zu schön, um wirklich wahr zu sein. Schon bald entdeckt sie an Carter nämlich eine ganz andere, unheimliche Seite und muss sich fragen, ob sie ihm wirklich trauen kann.
