Das Johannes-Evangelium (2003)
Der Film erzählt das Leben von Jesus von Nazaret aus der Sicht seines Apostels Johannes, und setzt seinen Schwerpunkt auf das von ihm verfasste Johannesevangelium. Das wie im Johannesevangelium nichts von der Geburt Christi erwähnt, sondern erst beginnt, als Johannes der Täufer Jesus im Jordan tauft. Auch seine Wunder und Predigten werden ausschließlich dem Johannesevangelium entnommen, so unter anderem die Auferweckung des Lazarus, der Gang Jesu über den See Genezareth, die wundersame Brotvermehrung, die Heilung eines Blinden und eines Lahmen.
