Alle lieben Pollyanna (1960)
Die kleine Pollyanna wächst in einer Missionarsfamilie auf. Da sie bereits sehr früh zur Vollwaise wird, zieht sie zu ihrer wohlhabenden Tante Polly. Unermüdlich versucht Pollyanna, ihre Mitmenschen mit ihrer Fröhlichkeit anzustecken. Die Bewohner der Kleinstadt sind von dem kleinen Mädchen und seiner positiven Einstellung begeistert, nur ihre eigene Tante bleibt eisern. Eines Tages reißt Pollyanna aus und verletzt sich schwer. Als sie erfährt, dass sie möglicherweise querschnittsgelähmt bleiben wird, blickt sie erstmals pessimistisch in die Zukunft. Doch zum Glück sind die - mittlerweile sehr optimistischen - Stadtbewohner für Pollyanna da und muntern sie auf ...Eine herzerwärmende Geschichte.
