Der Fluch des Tut-Ench-Amun (1980)
1922 fand der Archäologe Howard Carter das Grab des ägyptischen Pharaos Tutenchamun. In den Jahren danach starben 21 Expeditionsmitglieder auf mysteriöse Weise - die Legende vom Fluch war geboren. Die spektakuläre Ausgrabungsstory allein reicht dem Film nicht. Carter (Robin Ellis) muss sich auch noch auf eine Liebesgeschichte mit der Reporterin Sarah (Eva Marie Saint) einlassen. Dazu bringt ein ägyptischer Schurke (Raymond Burr mit Schuhcrememaske) das Team zum Fluchen. Intrigen, Sabotage, Eifersucht, Skorpione und Giftschlangen spielen ebenfalls ihre traurige Rolle…
