Blood River - Nichts ist, wie es scheint (2009)
Irgendwo im Nirgendwo – mitten in der Wüste. Ausgerechnet hier hat das frisch vermählte Ehepaar Summer (Tess Panzer) und Clark (Ian Duncan) einen Autounfall. Sie machen sich auf den Weg zur nächsten Siedlung, die Hitze ist schier unerträglich. Als sie, mit ihren Kräften am Ende, dort ankommen, müssen sie feststellen, dass es eine Geisterstadt ist. Die Sonne brennt erbarmungslos herunter, während sie verzweifelt nach Wasser suchen. Auf einmal taucht Joseph (Andrew Howard) auf. Er scheint ihre Rettung zu sein. Nach und nach merken die beiden jedoch, dass Joseph ein dunkles, schreckliches Geheimnis hat. Sie wollen vor ihm flüchten, doch er hat nicht vor, sie wieder gehen zu lassen...
