Während die beiden Freunde Sorey und Mikleo die alten Ruinen in der Nähe ihres Heimatdorfes, erkunden, finden sie eine bewusstlose junge Frau. Sie beschließen, ihr zu helfen und sie in ihr Dorf bringen. Aber die Dorfbewohner sind dagegen, einen Menschen aufzunehmen, da sie alle Seraphim sind und Menschen nur Unheil und Böses bringen sollen. Als das Dorf in der Nacht tatsächlich von einem gefährlichen Hellion angegriffen wird, gelingt es den Bewohnern nur mit Mühe und Not ihn zurück zu schlagen. Ob er hinter der jungen Frau her war? Wer ist sie? Und welche Verbindung besteht zwischen ihr und Sorey?
