The Eloise Asylum (2016)
Jacob Martin (Chace Crawford) erfährt eines Tages, dass sich sein Vater umgebracht hat. Damit er aber an dessen Vermögen kommen kann, soll Jacob die Todesurkunde einer Tante vorweisen, andernfalls kann er das Erbe vergessen. Doch der letzte bekannte Aufenthaltsort der Tante ist ausgerechnet die psychiatrische Anstalt Eloise, die für ihre furchtbaren Heilpraktiken berüchtigt war und die vor 30 Jahren bei einem Feuer vollständig zerstört wurde. Mit seinem Kumpel Dell (Brandon T. Jackson), dem Eloise-Kenner Scott (P.J. Byrne) und dessen Schwester Pia (Eliza Dushku) betritt Jacob die Ruine. Schon bald müssen die Freunde feststellen, dass sich noch eine ganze Menge in Eloise regt und die einstigen Patienten und Ärzte Jagd auf Eindringlinge machen. Während Jacob und seine Freunde um ihr Überleben kämpfen, vermischen sich die Zeit- und Wahrnehmungsebenen und ein Entkommen erscheint unmöglich...
