Laguna Heat (1987)
TIM ALGERNON STIRBT EINEN GRAUSAMEN TOD, GETRÄNKT ... ... mit Terpentin wird er in Flammen gesetzt. Algernon ist er erste einer mysteriösen Mordserie, die immen dann ein neues Opfer fordert, wenn ein Zeuge zu dem Fall aussagen könnte. Nachdem der Hauptverdächtige auf der Flucht er-schossen wurde, steht Tom Sheppard, der die Untersuchungen leitet, vor einem Rätsel. Zeugen und Mörder sind tot. Tom fährt in den Strand Club von Laguna, sein letzter Anhaltspunkt in dem unerklärlichen Fall. Seltsamerweise erhält er von seinem Onkel den entscheidenden Hinweis. Mit Entsetzten stellt er fest, wer der Mörder ist.
