Der Legionär (1998)

Leichtfertig hat sich Preisboxer Alain Lefevre mit dem Mafiaboss von Marseille, Lucien Galgani, auf einen getürkten Boxkampf eingelassen. Als es soweit ist, bringt es Lefevre nicht übers Herz, seine Fäuste im Zaum zu halten. Er gewinnt den Kampf und brennt mit Galganis Geliebter Katrina durch. Doch die Flucht scheitert, Katrina wird von den Häschern des Mafiosos geschnappt. Alain kann fliehen, doch nicht ohne vorher Galganis Bruder im Zweikampf getötet zu haben. Er sucht Zuflucht bei der Fremdenlegion und verdient sich dort den Respekt des brutalen Schleifers Steinkampf. In Afrika geraten Alain und seine neuen Freunde in einen Aufstand der Berber, und auch Galganis Killer haben die Fährte des Leginärs aufgenommen.
