Vom Ende einer Geschichte (2017)
Tony Webster ist ein scheinbar normaler Mann. Geschieden und im Ruhestand lebt er ein relativ unspektakuläres Leben. Doch eines Tages holt ihn der Schatten seiner Vergangenheit ein und er steht plötzlich vor einem mysteriösen Erbe: Ein Tagebuch, geführt von Tonys ehemaligem besten Freund, der später Tonys Freundin zu Universitätszeiten, Veronica Ford datete, in deren Besitz sich die geschriebenen Erinnerungen nun befinden. Je tiefer er in seiner Vergangenheit gräbt, desto mehr beginnt Tony, sein bisheriges Leben zu hinterfragen. Und alles kommt zurück: die erste Liebe, das gebrochene Herz, Betrug, Schuld und Reue. Tony kommt an einen Punkt, an dem er Verantwortung übernehmen muss, für zermürbende Konsequenzen von Taten, die er vor langer Zeit begangen hat …
