Eis - wenn die Welt erfriert (1998)
Ein gewaltiger Meteoriteneinschlag auf der Sonne löst eine neue Eiszeit auf der Erde aus. Die Welt liegt unter einer dicken Eisdecke, Schneemassen begraben sämtliches Leben unter sich. Der Wissenschaftler Dr. Kessler sagt weitere Verschlimmerungen voraus. Nur am Äquator herrscht noch gemäßigtes Klima. Als ein U-Boot der Regierung für die Fahrt dorthin bereit gemacht wird, beginnt ein mörderischer Kampf ums Überleben. Auch Dr. Kessler und der Polizist Robert Drake versuchen an Bord zu gelangen...
