Nach ihrem Highschool-Abschluss wollen es die vier Freundinnen Carson, Melaina, Luanne und Caroline noch einmal so richtig krachen lassen. Ihren Eltern gaukeln sie eine Bildungsreise vor, und ab geht es ans Meer. Dort findet ein Shag-Tanzwettbewerb statt, bei dem jede Menge Traummänner teilnehmen.
