The Florida Project (2017)
Die sechsjährige Moonee (Brooklynn Prince) lebt unweit des Disneylands im sonnigen Orlando. Gemeinsam mit ihren Freunden Scooty (Christopher Rivera) und Jancey (Valeria Cotto) streicht sie durch die Gegend und treibt allerhand Schabernack. Das Trio erbettelt sich Geld für Eis, legen die Stromversorgung eines gesamten Wohnblockes lahm und klettern in leerstehende Häuser. Als Moonees Mutter die Miete für ihre kleine Wohnung nicht mehr zahlen kann und auch die tatkräftige Unterstützung der Tochter durch den Verkauf von billigen Parfüm-Kopien nicht mehr hilft, entscheidet sie sich zu einem drastischen Schritt...
