Logan Lucky (2017)
Die Brüder Jimmy und Clyde Logan haben es wirklich nicht leicht: Der impulsive Jimmy neigt zu Gefühlsausbrüchen und verliert dadurch einen Job nach dem anderen, Clyde hingegen hat zwar einen festen Job als Barkeeper, wird aber von den Gästen schikaniert, weil er einen Arm verlor und er eine Prothese trägt. Ihre zunehmenden Geldsorgen wollen die Brüder beenden, indem sie beim bekanntesten NASCAR-Rennen der Welt, dem Coca-Cola 600, einen genialen Raubüberfall durchführen. Ihre Schwester Mellie soll helfen, weitere Unterstützung für seinen Coup erhofft sich das vom Pech verfolgte Duo vom legendären Bankräuber Joe Bang – der allerdings erst befreit werden muss, weil er momentan hinter Gittern sitzt. Und auch nachdem das vollbracht ist, geht der Plan natürlich nicht so reibungslos über die Bühne, wie Jimmy und Clyde sich das vorgestellt haben…
