Black Death (2010)
1348 ist England im Griff des Schwarzen Todes, doch ein abgelegenes Dorf scheint sich der Pest widersetzen zu können. Im Auftrag der Kirche, die einen Verlust ihres Einflusses durch zunehmenden Aberglauben fürchtet, sollen Ritter Ulric und seine kleine Gruppe von Kämpfern und Folterknechten in Erfahrung bringen, ob die Dorfbewohner wirklich verbotene und gar übernatürliche heidnische Rituale durchführen. Der junge Novize Osmund führt die Gruppe zum Dorf, wo die Männer ein trügerisches Idyll und ein Härtetest für ihren eigenen Glauben erwarten.
